Highway Police 4 commander Pol Colonel Apichat Phochan told reporters on Friday that Phetchaburi native Sawapop Odthon was arrested at around midnight after failing to stop at a narcotics-suppression checkpoint on Mitraparp Highway in Tambon Moungwan. Police claimed Sawapop admitted he was to pocket Bt250,000 for driving the marijuana to Phetchaburi in a deal arranged by a former jail mate from Udon Thani.
