Marie-Philip Poulin, star forward for the Montreal Canadiennes and the player with the most goals in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League this season, won three awards at the CWHL’s awards ceremony Friday night, including league MVP. Poulin, who turns 28 next week, was the only multiple-award winner on Friday. Poulin finished with 50 points, just two ahead of teammate Ann-Sophie Bettez. The Markham Thunder picked up two awards — 22-year-old Victoria Bach as Rookie of the Year and Jim Jackson as Coach of the Year. Bach’s 32 points was tied for fourth among all CWHL players.
