Or they may need to leave work early to make it to an appointment on time. Allowing employees to work a flexible schedule is one of the best ways to support someone who is also a caregiver. As long as the employee is getting their work done, give them the flexibility to work late at night or early in the morning. Some employees may just need to work from home certain days of the week or for part of the day.
