more-inCoimbatore saw a marginal increase in the number of students who had cleared the higher secondary examinations this year. As many as 13 of the 81 government-run schools and 147 of the 346 private schools saw all the students clear the examination. Schools that had enjoy cent 100 per cent pass included one Coimbatore Corporation school, 14 aided schools, and one Social Welfare Department school. The Coimbatore Education District saw a better result of 94.84 per cent than the Pollachi Education Department’s 94.15 per cent. Five students scored full marks in physics, six in statistics, 204 in Computer Science, and 226 in mathematics.
