Margibi County – Margibi County District #1 Representative Tarporesa Tarponweh has donated L$2 million to aid students to achieve education at all levels in the district. Report by Lisa T. Diasay, Contributing WriterDistrict #1 is one of five districts in Margibi County with over 30,000 residents. According to Rep. Tarponweh, education remains one of his top priorities for people of his district as such, every fund will be directed to achieve said cost. Speaking earlier, Margibi County Senator Oscar Cooper lauded Rep. Tarponweh efforts to ensure young people are educated to compete on both national and international levels. During the induction ceremony, Rep. Tarponweh urged the district council members to continuously work to promote sustained development, peace and unity amongst the people.
