Margaret Skelly, a resident of Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, for 20 years and a 45-year resident of Darien, passed away on Sept. 12. Margaret Doyle Kansas Skelly, the daughter of Lyndon Doyle and Jack Kansas, was born on Nov. 6, 1926 in Banes, Cuba. Peggy trained as a dancer and traveled around the country performing in shows headlined by stars like Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. She married George Skelly in 1952 and had four children. Peggy was blessed with six grandchildren: Laurel Hausler, James Hausler, Lee Anne Hausler, Kat Hausler, Millie Theroux and Katrice Theroux.
