I must say that I’m chalking one up to the Malaysian Sports Commissioner’s Office for his action to lodge a report against the organiser of the Klang City International Marathon for their carelessness. But in my judgement, this event has really opened up the public’s eyes to be more aware after this. But if the public are made aware of precautionary measures when participating in such events, maybe these civilians will be more cautious. The most important thing is that the organisers must tighten security and ensure the safety of each participant throughout the event. Participants should, in particular, take precautions like doing some research about the event in which they want to participate.
