Maraga's anti-graft plans take shape

"As Kenyans, the Judiciary leaders acknowledge that corruption is a cancer in our society. The Judiciary is committed to playing its rightful role in the fight against graft within the ambit of the law," Justice Ouko said. "The Judiciary leaders pledge to continue being responsive to constructive criticism and amenable engagement with other arms of the government as well as stakeholders while remaining independent," Justice Ouko added. COMMUNICATIONNevertheless, Mr Maraga cautioned that corruption cases cannot have a stipulated period of completion since they are influenced by varying moderating factors.
