Chief Justice David Maraga has ordered a scale down of court activities for two weeks over Coronavirus fears. Judges and magistrates will review bail terms for those in remands and there will be no open court appearances by judicial officers. "All workshops and conferences, foreign travel have been suspended for justice officers except in very critical cases," Maraga said. "....the country has confirmed the first case of coronavirus from a patient who arrived in Kenya," he said. The World Health Organisation on Sunday said there were 273 confirmed Covid-19 cases in Africa in 26 countries with 6 reported deaths.
