The Maple Leafs have to wait until Sunday night — the last game of the season and the only one on the final day — to find out who their first-round opponent will be in the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Leafs, 4-2 winners over the Canadiens in their regular-season finale, will most likely open the post-season on Thursday and then play Saturday, but whether it’s in Boston or Tampa Bay remains to be seen. The Bruins beat the Ottawa Senators 5-2 to keep their chances of finishing first in the East alive, after Tampa Bay lost 3-2 to Carolina in overtime. The Bruins will host the Florida Panthers on Sunday at 7:30 p.m., making up a game postponed by a snowstorm earlier in the season. The Leafs will play whichever one winds up second.
