“It’s definitely shocking, but it’s playoff hockey,” Leafs winger Zach Hyman said. “It’s a different game (in the playoffs),” Toronto defenceman Travis Dermott said. “It’s kind of crazy to think such a good team in the regular season can go out in four like that. Lots of times during the year you think this team’s going to win because of the record. “It’s a crazy start to the playoff year with those two teams going down,” Hyman said.
