PUTRAJAYA: The number of people from all walks of life who came to pay their last respects to IOI Group founder and executive chairman Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng have left family members “deeply touched”. In saying that they were overwhelmed by the kind gesture and display of sincerity, Lee’s eldest son Datuk Lee Yeow Chor (pic) said the rain did not stop the stream of people from attending the wake for his father. Asked what were his last words to the family and other fond memories of him, Yeow Chor said there were too many instances torecall. On whether the family would continue his legacy as a philanthropist and educationist, Yeow Chor replied in the affirmative. In March, Lee’s younger son, IOI Properties Group Bhd CEO Lee Yeow Seng tied the knot with Energy, Science, Technology, Envi­ron­­ment and Climate Change Minis­ter Yeo Bee Yin.
