Otago Secondary Rugby Council chairman Murray Munro said there was no room on the calendar to reschedule the Otago premier school rugby games. King's High School has secured top billing no matter the result against Mt Aspiring College this weekend. John McGlashan College and South Otago High School are both through as well and will play each other in a dress rehearsal for the semifinals on Saturday. Waitaki Boys' High School still has an opportunity of slipping past Otago Boys' High School 2nd XV and nabbing the final semifinal spot but it will be a daunting challenge. It has to win with a bonus point while denying Otago Boys' a bonus point.
