Research published in the Journal of the American Medical Association looked at 143 patients from Italy who had been hospitalized with COVID-19 and survived. A study found that four in five of them were still reporting symptoms; at that time, two months later. Long-haul survivors call it the “’rona coaster.” Symptoms include including crushing fatigue, breathlessness, tingling, buzzing sensations, gastro-intestinal problems, rapid heart rate, and brain fog. Some people have become unable to function for months, even with medical help, rest, exercise, vitamins and supplements. Mount Sinai is the first of its kind center for post-COVID-19 care, and has become a center of info/surveys for those with post-viral symptoms.
