Funding for the Manukau Institute of Technology's commercial training division EnterpriseMIT was reportedly stopped late last year after concerns were raised about how it functioned. A spokesman for the Manukau Institute of Technology said in a statement that any issues raised around quality and staff conduct were taken very seriously. An MIT spokesman said it was not uncommon for reader-writers to assist students with assessments and course work.
