Manu Tuilagi has committed his future to Sale by signing a new deal which could take him through to the next World Cup in 2023. He initially only joined the Cheshire club for a year, so recently he has been considering his next career move. Tuilagi has agreed to remain at Sale for at least another season, with the option of extending his stay with the Sharks until the end of the 2022-23 campaign. It is a coup for Sale and a highly significant development for England too. England noticeably missed his ball-carrying clout during the recent Six Nations, when they finished fifth.
