Alberta Occupational Health and Safety officials are investigating after a man in his late 50s died inside the Workers' Compensation Board building. The man died inside the WCB Jarvis Building at 9925 107th St. in downtown Edmonton, OHS spokesperson Lloyd Wipf confirmed in an emailed statement on Monday. Edmonton police were notified about the death and attended the scene on Friday night, then turned the investigation over to OHS, a police spokesperson told CBC News. A statement from Rob Scott, Bee Clean's executive vice-president, said the company is providing grief counselling to staff and extending condolences to the worker's family.
