Kenyan High Commissioner to the UK, Manoah Esipisu, has finally presented his credentials to the Queen. The former State House spokesperson was nominated to the position by President Uhuru Kenyatta in July last year. The Royal family on Twitter said “Today The Queen received His Excellency Mr. Manoah Esipisu, High Commissioner for the Republic of Kenya in London”. Esipisu said, “I have finally presented my letters of credence, by which President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed me High Commissioner to the UK, to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. Earlier on it had been alleged that Esipisu was among eight diplomats who had been rejected by their host countries.
