Manitoba's test positivity rate sinks again, as 90 new COVID-19 cases reported

Manitoba's test positivity rate continued its decline on Saturday, reaching a low it hasn't seen since early October, as the province reported 90 new cases of COVID-19. Manitoba also reported four more deaths linked to COVID-19 on Saturday, as it announced most of its new cases were again split between the Northern Health Region, which reported 37, and the Winnipeg health health region, which had 34. The deaths announced on Saturday are all from the Winnipeg health region. None of the latest deaths, which bring Manitoba's total fatalities linked to COVID-19 to 893, are linked to any known outbreaks in the province. Two previously announced COVID-19 cases were removed from Manitoba's total because of a data correction, the release says.
