The Philippines has halted trading today on concens the new coronavirus is spreaing rapidly and now numbers 142 infections, while 12 have died. Philippine Stock Exchange President Ramon Monzon has suspended trading "until further notice." A tweet said: "There will be no trading and clearing and settlement at the PSE/SCCP tomorrow, March 17, 2020, until further notice, due to the enhanced community quarantine implemented in Luzon.''
