With the official start of NFL free agency less than 48 hours away the Eagles have reportedly already swung into action. First, they reached agreement on a new one-year deal with 37-year-old offensive tackle Jason Peters, confirmed on the team website, philadelphiaeagles.com. Under the terms of his previous contract Peters would’ve made over $13 million next season. Considering his age and recent injury history, that was simply unacceptable to the Eagles, who instead reworked the deal on more favorable terms. However, the Eagles aren’t commenting on either Jackson move for the moment, especially what bringing D-Jax back means for the rest of the receiving corps.
