SUNGAI BULOH: Police are hunting for a Pakistani remand detainee who escaped from the prison here on Thursday (April 9). Sungai Buloh OCPD Supt Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said police received a report on the incident and immediately launched an operation to track down and recapture the detainee. He advised the public to remain vigilant as the detainee has a history of sexual offences against children. "They can also contact the Sungai Buloh district police headquarters at 03-61561222 or any nearest police station," he said. He also advised the public not to spread unverified information or speculate, as it could disrupt police operations and cause public anxiety.
