Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board spokesman Steve Fields said police called board officials at 6:15 a.m. Everyone else is asked to stay away from this area, which is just south of the Detroit River waterfront. Police believe an armed gunman wearing camouflage fired shots at a home in Windsor, Ont., early Wednesday morning, and they have placed an east-end neighbourhood on lockdown as they conduct a manhunt.
