A massive manhunt was underway Saturday for a gunman authorities said opened fire inside a Macy's store at a mall in Burlington, Washington, north of Seattle, killing five people. Authorities say the motive was unknown for the shooting in a community about 97 kilometres north of Seattle. "At this time, we have learned that the suspect had already fled the mall prior to officer arrival," Moser added. "The hearts of British Columbians go out to the victims and families impacted by the senseless shooting in Burlington," she said on Twitter Saturday afternoon.
