Mandarin Oriental lights up Christmas with 20-meter treeTAIPEI, Taiwan -- Mandarin Oriental, Taipei yesterday put up a sparkling Christmas tree at The Arcade entrance on Dunhua North Road. The tree is 8 meters wide and 20 meters tall and features 28 candy-shaped LED lights. The unconventional decorations of the Christmas tree and the glowing indigo lights that lined its silhouette transformed the place into a dreamy and festive wonderland, the hotel said. The Mandarin Cake Shop of the hotel specially designed a "Love Share" Charity Panda featuring a limited-edition Mandarin Oriental signature panda stuffed toy and one bag of handmade festive cookies. An adorable cloak worn by the "Love Share" Christmas Panda is exclusively handmade and sewn by the hotel's housekeeping staff.
