United's new shirt sponsor, Snapdragon, have expressed an interest in buying the naming rights, recently saying it could 'make sense' to negotiate a deal to rename Old Trafford. Last month, United said they are looking at 'funding options' which include selling the naming rights to Old Trafford. She responded by agreeing and confirmed all views on renaming Old Trafford would be considered by the club. Manchester City and Arsenal have sold their stadium naming rights to Etihad Airways and Emirates respectively and those are multi-million pound deals. A deal to rename Old Trafford could be worth roughly an extra £20m per season.
