TalkSPORT report that AC Milan have offered Manchester United the chance to sign the former Chelsea man this month. Whether he would get the game time at Manchester United he is looking for is not guaranteed, given the options interim manager Michael Carrick has in his squad. In his first game since his appointment this month, Carrick fielded Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo behind Bruno Fernandes in the middle. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Monday that there was a meeting featuring the Manchester United hierarchy and Carrick to decide on transfer plans over the rest of the January window.
