City are set to have talks with the representatives of forward Leroy Sane in the coming days in the hope of securing him a new deal. The 23-year-old has two years remaining on his current contract at Manchester City and has recently attracted strong interest from Bayern Munich. The Premier League champions are hopeful of convincing Sane to extend his contract and will try to reach an agreement during the negotiations. Bayern president Uli Hoeness has already admitted the club’s interest in signing Sane. He has scored 16 goals in 47 appearances during the 2018/19 campaign as Man City claimed a historic domestic treble after winning the League Cup, the Premier League and the FA Cup.
