Manchester Airport delays: Children forced to sleep on luggage amid flight chaos


Disruption is expected to continue today despite the issue which caused chaos being fixed in the early hours of today. Four Flybe flights have been cancelled - although it is thought the foggy weather could also be to blame. Roughly 13,000 passengers are thought to have been affected with some having been sent to Liverpool Airport for their flight. Thirty-seven of the cancelled flights were arrivals and 32 were departures. In a statement put out in the early hours of today Manchester Airport said: "Engineers have now resolved the power issue which affected the fuel supply.
