President Mauricio Macri once again made reference to the deep political divide in Argentine society and called on everyone to unite to move the country forward. “The way is not through attacks or fighting, but rather through dialogue.” In other words: Zzzzzzz. It wasn’t what Macri said that was interesting though, it was where he said it: a factory for Manaos. The Argentine company that managed to squeeze itself into the competitive soft-drink market through low prices and a self-aware, self-deprecating humor that would make Louis CK proud, is already part of Argentine pop culture. The catchphrase “Vamos, Manaos!” (Go Manaos!)
