The 2017 world 1,500m champion has regretted an Athletics Integrity Unit whereabouts charge following three missed tests. The AIU said the African champion has a case to answer under Article 2.4 of the Anti-doping rules. “News of my suspension by the AIU for three missed tests is really devastating for me and I am still trying to get my head around it,”said Manang’oi said. He revealed that the charge dates back to 2019, the year he was plagued with injuries. “What I can say is that each of the missed tests happened during 2019.
