Wade followed the woman down the street before grabbing her and slapping her in the face with his hand carrying the bag, Liverpool Crown Court heard. Mr Morgan added: "He indicated as set out in his psychiatric report that he would apologise to her if given the opportunity." Judge Rachel Smith told Wade that it was agreed that his guilty plea to the noxious substance charge incorporated the facts of a "campaign of harassment against your neighbour". Judge Smith told Wade that reports confirmed he had a "lengthy history of mental health issues, often compounded by or triggered by your drug use". She said the victim told of how she felt "unclean" afterwards and added: "Of course the adverse effects of being attacked with a bag of faeces speak for themselves.
