A man was arrested for stabbing his wife’s boyfriend to death, after police found him stuck in a neighbor’s chimney when he tried to escape. When police talked to neighbors, they discovered that the suspect was Elliott Stewart, husband of the home’s current occupant. As they were searching, they received a call from a neighboring homeowner who said someone was stuck in his chimney. The homeowner said he did not know the person stuck in the chimney, so he let the police in to investigate. When officers looked in the chimney, they identified the man stuck in it as Stewart.
