A Florida man who went on an abusive tirade at a Costco after an elderly woman asked him to wear his mask has been fired from his insurance job. The insurance agency tweeted on Tuesday that Maples’ behavior was not in line with ‘company values’ and that he had been ‘terminated’. Corben tweeted the footage, showing Maples screaming the expletive-laden tirade at the elderly woman in the Gulf Coast town center store to his 82,000 followers. Corben said he shared the video in the hopes of encouraging people to wear masks during the coronavirus pandemic. In the video Maples approaches the elderly lady and a man believed to be defending her.
