By Kristine Sgueglie and Steve Almasy | CNNThe father who sexually and psychologically manipulated a group of college students for years after moving into his daughter’s college dorm room in New York was sentenced to 60 years in prison Friday, according to the US Department of Justice. Ray collected sexually explicit photos of the victim, which he used to coerce her into continued commercial sex acts, authorities said. In April, Williams thanked the victims who spoke in court, noting the verdict wouldn’t have been possible without their testimony. Prosecutors said in 2020 that the investigation was prompted by an April 2019 magazine article titled “The Stolen Kids of Sarah Lawrence,” published on New York magazine’s The Cut. The private liberal arts college has about 1,700 students and is located in Yonkers.
