A man who defiled a three year-old girl before strangling her to death has been handed a death sentenced by the High Court in Bomet. Justice Roselyne Korir sentenced Benard Busieney alias Chagicha to death for the offence of murder which occurred three years ago. According to the prosecution, Busieney murdered the minor in Bomet on January 27, 2017. The perineum had bruises and tears, cause of death were strangulation,” read in part the postmortem report carried out by Ronald Kibet. A probation report submitted to court stated that the accused was a class seven dropout and heavily abused alcohol and smoked bhang.
