Man turns over P5-M cocaine to police in Camarines NorteBy The Manila TimesBAGUIO CITY: Police over the weekend found packed cocaine in Camarines Norte, a week after authorities found the same illegal drug within the coast near Dinagat Islands. Bernard Banac, Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesman, said a civilian found the brick-like package within the shoreline of Paracale in Bagumbayan village at about 7:20 p.m. on Saturday. At about 3 a.m., Banac said the package tested positive for the cocaine that weighed about 989.23 grams with an estimated value of about P5 million. The block of cocaine was found days after a fisherman on Siargao, Dinagat Islands also spotted 37 blocks of cocaine amounting to P457 million. DEMPSEY REYES
