(file photo)A Taranaki man was taken to hospital in a serious condition after being charged by a bull on Wednesday. The 62-year-old arrived at a Stratford medical centre about 3.50pm after receiving a puncture wound and suffering chest pain following the attack. A St John ambulance was called to to transport him to Taranaki Base Hospital in a serious condition, a spokeswoman said. A Taranaki District Health Board spokeswoman confirmed the patient was being assessed in the emergency department after suffering a puncture wound from contact with a bull.
