(File photo)A man who stole a chainsaw from a rural Marlborough Sounds property threw it into a bush after he crashed his vehicle. Bradley Richard McKay, 33, stole the Husqvarna chainsaw, valued at $1679, from a residential address in the Marlborough Sounds on April 17. A short time later he crashed his vehicle on Kenepuru Rd in the Marlborough Sounds. After crashing the vehicle, McKay hid the chainsaw in a bush. Ricky Wilson/Stuff McKay appeared in the Blenheim District Court on Monday where he pleaded guilty to one charge of theft.
