A man has been threatened with a hammer and had his car stolen at a petrol station in Hamilton. The man was filling up his car at the Gull on Norton Road around 6pm when he was approached by a man in a black hood, Senior Sergeant Simon Cherry said. "The offender used a hammer to threaten the victim and then drove off with his car," Cherry said. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black hat, sunglasses, bandanna, black hood, black shorts and no shoes.
