Peter Douglas Yarrall was in New Plymouth District Court on Thursday on a charge of wilful damage following a dispute with his neighbours over a dead sheep. A dispute over a dead sheep has landed one man in court after he took to his neighbour's car with a sledgehammer. About 10.30pm, an argument broke out between Yarrall and his neighbours over a lamb that was killed several days earlier. "He further struck the roof of the vehicle with the sledgehammer, causing panel damage and dents." Yarrall was charged with wilful damage to which he pleaded guilty.
