A man was taken to the hospital following a serious assault in Kildare. The assault occurred on North Main Street, Naas, on Sunday, at approximately 2.45am. A man, aged in his 30s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Another man, aged in his 20s, was arrested for public order offences and has since been released.
