A man who superglued his hands to the bar table in a Brisbane courtroom has been charged with contempt. Burke told media outside court after he had been released from the table that he wanted his case to be heard in a federal court. In court, Burke approached the bar table but was asked by the magistrate to allow another matter to be heard first. When asked to move away from the table, Burke told the court he was "locked on". About two hours after Burke stuck himself to the table, he appeared before the magistrate on a contempt charge.
