The deceased is Monir Hossain, 22, son of Aminur Rahman from Paschim Shimul Bari village under Jaldhaka upazila of Nilphamari district. He used to work at a private company in Dhaka's Adabor area. Banani police station Sub Inspector (SI) Fazal rescued Monir from Banani’s Shetu Bhaban area around 11pm and rushed him Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) emergency department, where on-duty doctors declared him dead at 12:04am. DMCH police station Inspector Md Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter.
