One man was shot and suffered life-threatening injuries while a woman was seriously injured when she was run over by a vehicle at their rural property in Wheatland County, east of Calgary. RCMP say it's believed the two were injured "during an altercation with two other adults known to the victims." Both victims were taken to hospital. A 24-year-old man from Wheatland County was taken into custody, according to Strathmore RCMP, and charges are pending. The investigation is ongoing.
