A man was treated in hospital after being shot in the face by someone from a nearby car in Dartmouth, according to police. Shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday, Halifax Regional Police responded to reports of a man arriving at a hospital for injuries resulting from a gunshot. Police say they have a report that the incident happened on Leaman Drive at about 3 p.m. The man was shot at by someone in a black four-door sedan, police said. At 12:15 p.m., Halifax police officers responded to the 0-100 block of Tacoma Drive in Dartmouth to reports of a man swinging a machete toward a vehicle and a person.
