Career criminal Delio Manuel Pereira was sentenced on Tuesday to 18 months for threatening to kill Fantino and three others. Court heard on Tuesday that Pereira tacked articles on Fantino on his wall, including one from a December 2017 edition of the Star. Moore was a Peel Regional Police communications officer who worked as a spokesperson on the Melo murder case. Earlier at Periera’s trail, court heard he kept a silver handgun. On the day of the murder, Pereira was too stoned to drive and went to bed instead, according to evidence presented at the Melo murder trials.
