Winnipeg police are on the lookout for two suspects they say assaulted and stabbed a man early Saturday morning in the North End. The man was taken to hospital, where he remains in stable condition. The man refused and was then assaulted and stabbed in the upper body, police said. Police are asking anyone with information about the suspects to contact investigators at 204-986-2848 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477). The suspects confronted a 24-year-old man and 33-year-old woman near Flora Avenue and Salter Street at about 1:10 a.m. and demanded the pair turn over their belongings.
