Man rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after west-end shooting, police say


Toronto police say they are assisting EMS with an emergency run, after a shooting Thursday night left a man with life-threatening injuries. The shooting took place near Scarlett Road and Braeburn Avenue, which is in the Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West area. Officers located a victim with gunshot wounds, police say. David Hopkinson told CBC News the victim's injuries are considered to be life-threatening. Police say the suspect or suspects fled.
