NewsPolice have launched investigations to arrest a knife-wielding robber who escaped with nearly Rs.1 million in cash from a private bank branch in Kiribathgoda last afternoon (20). The robber had allegedly entered the bank in the guise of a customer, but had then pulled out a knife and threatened staff, forcing staff to hand over cash to him. The robber had gotten away with nearly Rs.950, 000 in cash. Kiribathgoda police are investigating.
